A perfume that doesn’t exist until you.
Most people book this without knowing what they want. they only know how they want to feel. That the nourishing part of the whole session.
The session — 45 minutes, online
We talk about the scents you love and the ones you can’t be near. Core memories. Dreams you keep returning to. What your body and subconscious are asking for right now. Depending on where you want to go, this can include dream analysis, subconscious mapping, a guided meditation, divination, and memory lane.
Some people arrive knowing exactly what they want bottled: a color, a song, a person, a version of themselves they miss. Some have no idea. Either choices are encouraged.
Formulation — 3 to 4 weeks
I formulate from over 300 accords, working from what came up in your session. Every bespoke is made by hand, by me, in my private studio in Los Angeles.
What you receive
One 1.7 fl oz (50ml) glass bottle of eau de parfum, roughly 750 sprays, formulated once for one person.
A written analysis of your fragrance, including your dream analysis and divination reading.
Refills by request only.
Gifting
You can book the session for someone else, or I can work from what you know about them.
Payment
$222 total, billed in two parts. $111 — consultation and written analysis $111 — the formulated bottle

Jovanna Kay is an intuitive medicinal perfumer based in Los Angeles, working at the intersection of botany, psychoanalysis, and the kinetic energy of the body. She researches materials and scent traditions in cities around the world, and brings that research back to every client’s bottle.
