Kimora is the goddess and concept created for myself originally symbolize my highest, loving, patient, aware, confident, potent self. Sure, Kimora Skin sounds like a brand for skincare, (though this is a line within KIMORASKIN) the message being emphasized here are for people to create space for their healing process. For you to catalyst an awakening journey with guidance along the way. To shed your snake skin. To feel good in your SKIN. Everything stems from love or fear. Each product I cultivate correlates back to loving your self, the internal the external, facing the shadows of your spirit and to learn...you. Let go of what no longer serves you creating space fo healthy boundaries with yourself and themes in your life. Meanwhile gently holding space, patience and love for yourself and others. KIMORASKIN was created to aid your recognition of the power which cultivates within you. Let’s start our lesson now.
During my childhood, I grew up watching mama express her love language through love letters and act of service. Observing her every holiday season in the kitchen formulating batches of body scrubs for her friends and coworkers. She'd travel on month long business trips to China often and return stocked up on packs of face masks. I was that friend pulling up with skincare shit to the link ups. As I grew older, I developed an awareness about health for our bodies mentally, physically and emotionally. What are we putting in our bodies? Does the average person pick up their bathroom counter facewash and read every ingredient, researching the affects Polyethylene glycol potentially gives diabetes?
Man. The obsession with passionately putting others on to prioritizing their health for the present and long run became a natural niche of mine. It led to me finding the beauty of nature and why they exist. Not because of their saturated color palette, potent vertical stems, foreign patterns and the pure symbolic delicacy they hold amplifying divine masculine and femininity. But the essences and medicine they hold. My spirit has known for years I had a calling to catalyst others whether it was personal or collectively. Formulating body scrubs for friends and educating the energetic properties crystals hold for one's well being transmuted into a concept of aiding one's energetic field. The verbal spoken words of affirmation when mixing a batch clockwise to counterclockwise, the extracted essential oils, the healing properties of the harvested herbs from my garden, all correlate back to benefiting ones wellness. I tend to start new crafts to learn where I value time and energy. That's where painting, crafting jewelry, formulating experiment in my mini lab, music and candles came in. And it wasn't too long after I turned my art into a business.
It's all about intention. The hand written notes. The energy I've held that day or past week that my hand transfers onto. The concept of KIMORA SKIN has always been and still will always be about aiding one's journey. It is an ingredient to your recipe. Your recipe is the blueprint of your spirit. I have been called to aid others catalyzed chapters, healing and path of growth. And the art about this is I, Kimora, as well am learning more with you on this life path.
